We also have a 24-hour convenience store at the entrance — handy if you are missing something for the barbecue or breakfast.

Farm shops

There are many fine farms nearby with their own shops selling strawberries, corn, apples and eggs, among other things.

Fun

Hire a boat or canoe, or join the fun on land. Here you will find a large playground, a volleyball court and much more!

Fishing

Fish from the jetty, from a boat or from the shore. Tyrifjorden has trout, whitefish, char, perch and pike, and no fishing licence is needed.

Sauna

The sauna is right by the water, so you can take a dip in the fjord between sessions. Book it through Aurora Sauna.

Experiences for all ages at Utvika

There is always something to do here — hire a canoe or boat, relax in the sauna or take a dip in the fjord. Go on a treasure hunt with Kodekringla, play on the playground and volleyball court, or just say hello to the animals and relax on the terrace.

Can we hire a boat or canoe?

Yes. We hire out boats and canoes. Contact reception for prices.

Is there a place to swim?

Yes. We have a swimming area with a beach and a boat jetty.

What is there for children?

There is a large playground, a volleyball court and a beach on site.

Do we need a fishing licence?

No. You do not need a fishing licence to fish in Tyrifjorden with us.

How do we book the sauna?

The sauna is booked through Aurora Sauna.

Are there hiking and cycling trails nearby?

Yes. Krokskogen has many hiking trails and cycling routes. One of the best-known hikes goes up Krokkleiva to Kongens Utsikt. See more route suggestions on ut.no.
